Your watches
No classes yet. Watch one and it shows up here with its live seat count.
Connect your phone
- Install the free ntfy app on iPhone or Android.
- Tap + and subscribe to your private topic on the default server:
Your topic appears here after you watch a class. - Allow notifications, and make sure Focus or Do Not Disturb won't silence them.
Anyone with this topic can read your alerts, so keep it to yourself. It's saved in this browser so you can come back and manage your list.
How it works
- Pick your class. Find the 5-digit class number in ASU class search and enter it above. The strip above shows how full it is right now.
- Connect your phone. After you click Watch, you get a private topic. Subscribe to it in the free ntfy app once and you're set.
- Get the alert. We check ASU every 15 seconds. The moment a full class has a seat, your phone buzzes with the class name and how many seats opened.
- Register fast. Open your ASU registration page and add the class. Seats can go within seconds, so have your login ready.
Questions
How do I get into a full class at ASU?
Seats in full classes open when students drop, when a section is expanded, or when reserved seats are released, most often during drop/add and right before classes start. They usually go within minutes. Watch the class here so your phone buzzes the moment one opens, then register right away. It's also worth joining the waitlist if the class has one and asking your advisor about other sections.
Does it register me for the class?
No. It only tells you a seat opened. You register yourself, which keeps your ASU login out of this site entirely.
How fast are the alerts?
We check every 15 seconds, and the alert goes out as soon as a check sees an open seat. ASU's own numbers can lag a little behind real registration, so a seat may occasionally be gone by the time you tap.
Does it cost anything?
No. It's free, and there's no account to make.
Will it keep alerting me?
You get one alert when a class goes from full to open. If it fills up and opens again later, you get another. Tap Stop watching on your list when you no longer need a class.
Can I watch more than one class?
Yes, up to 5. Separate the class numbers with commas.
Which classes does it cover?
Any class in ASU's public class search for the current registration term. If a class number isn't found, double-check it in class search.
Why do I need the ntfy app?
ntfy delivers push notifications without making you share a phone number or email. It's free on iPhone and Android.
Request a feature
What we keep
Only your class numbers, any study-room alert times, and the random topic that sends your alerts. If you send a feature request, we keep just the text you wrote, with nothing that identifies you. We also count visits, without cookies, as a daily total that can't be traced back to you. There are no names, emails, phone numbers, or ASU logins, and no ads or tracking scripts on this page. Remove a class and it's gone from our list. Anyone who has your topic can read your alerts, so keep it to yourself. Read the full privacy policy.
